Nearby vision (Myopia)
The myopia is one of the most common refractive problems in the United States since affects from the 25 to the 30% of our population. The people that present myopia can see better the objects to short distance that from a distance. The most frequent cause of myopia occurs when the eye is of greater size with regard to the parts of focus of the eye or due to that the cornea is more curve of the normal thing. As a consequence, the cornea and the crystalline lens focuses the distant objects light rays very quickly what causes that the images be seen blurry when they arrive at the retina.
