Procedure PRK

To initiate the procedure the eye will be anesthetized with drops for the eyes. The surgeon uses then the laser (a do of cold ultraviolet light) to remove the superficial layer of the cornea and gives form to the underlying weaving. The real time that takes surgery PRK is of 15 minutes, but the preparations preoperatorios could extend the time of the surgery even in an hour. Both eyes can be operated at the same time, but some surgeons prefer to carry out the operacion in each eye by separated.
