How the surgery is carried out RK

Even when each procedure varies a little, generally, in the surgery RK a surgeon of the eye carries out (with a scalpel calibrated of diamond) radial incisions or as of rays inside the cornea, outside of the center of the same one (also called the optical zone, which is the area through the one that a person sees). Due to the pressure from inside the eye, the incisions cause that the center of the eye, or the optical zone, of the cornea they be crushed, reducing the refraction.
