Astigmatism

The astigmatism consists of the incapacity of the eye to focus with clarity the images to any distance. This occurs because the cornea does not have the form esférica normal, but an oval form, with a greater curvature toward a side that to the other, giving as a result two different radios of curvature. You gore them with an astigmatism very pronounced they have the most seemed oval form to that of a ball of American soccer (with more curved place on the one hand and flatter place by the other) that to the round form of a ball of basketball (with the same curvature in all the directions). The majority of the people they have certain degree of sufficiently small astigmatism as for affect not the quality of the vision. Nevertheless, a greater quantity of astigmatism could cause a problem of focus. The astigmatism can be combined with the myopia or with the farsightedness.
