Being prepared for the Surgery

Several things exist that will pass before submitting its eyes to the procedure LASIK. Its doctor will carry out an exámen complete of its eye and he will ask to have the medical history of the same one to be assured that its condition has been stable by at least a year. During this exámen, the doctor will determine if you are or not a good candidate for the LASIK. The exámen should include: Exámen of enlargement to verify the ocular irregularities Measure of refractive error Measure of the thickness of the pupil and the cornea Topographical map of the cornea Analysis of the tear function Discussion of the medical history, way of life and expectations If you use soft contact lenses, to should stop using them for a week before its eye exam and if uses hard contact lenses or gaspermeables, to should stop using for at least two or three prior weeks to the exámen. This will assure that its error refractive adequate basket measured.
