How the surgery is carried out LASIK

Even when each process varies a little, generally, the surgery LÁSIK wraps the use of a laser excimer controlled by a computer (a cold ultraviolet laser beam) and a microqueratoma (a surgical instrument). With these instruments, the surgeon cuts a strip in the center of the cornea to remove a thin layer of weaving. Upon removing the weaving, the cornea is crushed, reducing the myopia. The strip, that is replaced without utilizing stitches, adheres to the back of the cornea in question of minutes.
