Procedure LASIK

To initiate the procedure, the eye will be anesthetized with drops for the eyes. The surgeon will employ then a called device microkeratoma to create a corneal flap on the external layer of the cornea. After the flap has been created, a laser excimer is an employee to give him form to the cornea and the corneal flap is relocated. The eye will heal for itself and will not be necessary the sutures. Usually, the surgery LASIK really takes less than 15 minutes, but the pre-operating preparation could extend the operacion to an hour. Both eyes can be operated at the same time, but some surgeons prefer to perform the operacion each eye by separated.
